Passing Portraits

I like taking photographs of people. As the title suggests these are all portraits of people I passed, unaware that I was taking their photograph, sometimes I asked permission and other times I simply took the photograph as I felt it was right-the pose was right, the background the colours, they looked a certain way, they looked cheerful or pensive. Some of the photos contain more than one person but for me they are still portraits. The subject/s may not be looking directly at the camera. I may not use the traditional way of asking a person to pose, capturing a person from the waist up-I may not capture a face at all. All of these photographs were taken with a phone camera which I use as a sketchbook for capturing what I see instinctively. I'm not worried about using a  'professional' camera here-they are used in other projects. This is an ongoing series.
